WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report Report) —- The Saudi Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman, “totally freaked out” after Andy Borowitz offered to appear on the Internet and “tell joke.”

Borowitz told reporters on Tuesday that he “had modem” and “dead man joke make?”

“Joke is make. I say at Prince, ‘Internet is joke make. You kill man? Web 2.0,’” Borowitz said. “‘Type keys make joke.’”

The fact that a reporter was brutally tortured, killed, and dismembered did not deter Borowitz, who works at a publication notable for its journalism. “Kill man make baby joke,” he said.

According to New Yorker sources, the crown prince abruptly hung up on the former Fresh Prince producer and immediately called Ronan Farrow to demand that Borowitz be detained indefinitely inside the Algonquin Hotel.

Borowitz said that he was “sad man” that the Saudi royal reacted so negatively to his make joke. “Sad man joke dead man,” he said. “Joke on web.”
